I have just found this post of some artiste's self-portrait and could not help noticing that Marcel Duchamp is the only one that is not staring at us or looking outside of the painting. In photographies taken by others this one catches one rare moment when he faces the camera.
Lautrec seems to be staring at a mirror to paint himself and end up looking at the audience.
