The Real and it's Double
I attended a lecture and I'm remembering when It was said that what made some endure concentration camps was the belief that they would survive.
I'm watching "The Association Game" and realized that when watching war movies chances are that we put ourselves not among the civilians who are being bombarded and losing everything and being killed.
We are among those who are far from the dangers.
We all have already noticed that all the assumptions made by tests and professionals who can read who we were in a post life determined that we are among the rich. Not a bum, not a homicidal, a criminal, a sexual offender... No!
We were at least the friend of a honorable person.
Then I remembered Clément Rosset in time book "The Real and it's Double" analyzes how we deny reality.
He gives numerous examples but the one that just came to my mind is the conclusion the driver achieve after having stopped in red signs.
One day it will not be necessary to stop when the light turns red because "now it's my turn not to stop".
Have it ever happened to you?
If not have you ever had a friend or acquainted that was very sick and when you receive the news of the death for some seconds it is a surprise or it
does not sound real?

Young, rich and famous came out of the closet
Back in the 80ies when rich people didn't make a fuss about their lives, I said to a sociologist that they should show their faces.
I saw poor people's lives being showed, exposed and used in numerous ways and I always thought that it was a little obscene the excess of curiosity about poor people's lives.
Another thing that amazed me was the fact that only their poverty was, and still is, showed and their subjectivity, aspirations, pardon, their "dreams" were never approached.
They are showed as simple minded and shallow. The sociologist didn't pay attention to my crazy idea of having rich people's lives exposed. I wonder what must be thinking about all the rich "celebrities" that are now gladly showing their way of life, and, their intimacy.
Young, middle-aged or older rich people are no longer afraid of showing their houses, their beds their labels and whatever it is necessary to do a sensationalist appearance in a series dedicated to them.
It took me a while to watch some of these shows. I confess: I was not prepared. I had an idea that there were not too much life on their quotidian. But I could not imagine that it reached the lowest level in numerous criteria at least it is what those who came out of the closet are showing.
Some examples: I learned that the capital of Africa is South Africa in one of these shows and that it is not possible to memorize the three last presidents of your nation in another. Naming the current president is quite an achievement.
Showing labels is a must and wearing a huge necklace with the logo of Channel is in as hanging an enormous logo of another brand on the wall. I wonder what Coco is thinking about it.
"Always remove one thing before you leave the house. Less is more." Coco ChanelI could go on and talk about their subjectivity but, seriously, I don't find too much to talk about since I only have access to what is shown on these series.
Anyway, I wonder how can it be that therapy can be done publicly but I believe it is just part of the show and the psychologist is just playing.

Silence in Chinese
I'm taking a break from blogging so I'm silent here. This is a beautiful word and I started thinking about it and found Silence in Chinese:

this is for the case silence means: quiet, still, silent, stillness, silence, quietness, quietude.
At the page there are others for the cases:
Chinese translations for quietly, softly, gently, faintly, silently, quiet, silence, calm, peace.
Chinese translations for noiseless, quiet, silent, voiceless, breathed, mute, noiselessly, quietly, aphonia, silence.
Now I'm feeling sleepy. That's all.
I'll be back as soon as I awake.

Leaving: sometimes the biggest proof of love
It is not easy and it aches. It takes time and the process of understanding that leaving is the only solution despite all the love you have for the person is sad.
Leaving and letting go. Oh! It is not for everybody. Love is there but so many things are destroying it that in some situations the only exit is the door.
Be at peace my love! It was not our fault. I'm leaving cause I love you.

Where you ever asked about the flavor of toothpastes?
I always asked myself why all toothpastes had this mint flavor that I hate so much.
I decided to buy the children's toothpastes strawberry's flavor. We only have these two choices but I did a quick search and found out that
the industry has launched numerous flavors.
Porch flavor? No thanks. Don't they do a research before creating these things?
If so they might not have sarcasm detector because if I was asked I would come up with something like: "I would love a toothpaste that tasted like my favorite meal: beans and rice."
I just want tasteless and colorless toothpaste. The industries really think we need our senses to be activated to buy anything. The amount of artificial tastes and colors that they add to their products is astonishing. It makes the opposite effect on me. I don't buy jello because I hate those colors. They are artificial, too artificial. But now we'll have to bare processed food and vegetables genetically modified. We are far from being "pure race" and it is amazing that some people still fight and kill human beings because they are not "pure".
Haven't they received the memo?
And please, is it possible to take the fluoride from the toothpaste? Thank you!
P.S.: I would love to have my soap transparent or any color they really are. Is that too much to ask?

Arthrosis traumatic experience: all of a sudden I could not walk
I didn't know how incapacitating arthrosis is. I didn't even know about the disease.
I was feeling this burning in my legs and the pain thinking that it was due to the disc herniation in the lower back I deal with for more than two decades.
I noticed that I am walking slower but only last week I realized I couldn't elevate my leg to climb a step to enter a shop. It was when I went straight to the hospital and discovered the new diagnosis: arthrosis.
I spent four hours at the hospital and when I had to climb the stairs to the X ray room I couldn't do it and someone brought a wheelchair.
I felt terrible and impaired. A woman touched the wheelchair and I looked at her in a very angry way because it was as if it she was touching me.
I always respected people in wheelchair and would never touch one. I never look at the person because I think they don't want us to intervene in their life.
I spent most of the time at the wheelchair with my face covered cause I didn't want to face others and I was extremely nervous. When there were only two persons I finally looked up.
It was when an old lady asked: "You don't walk, do you?" I looked at her and she repeated the question to my amazement. I said in a very loud voice: "I do walk! I do walk. I just have a problem now."
I did the rest of things out of the wheelchair. I walked and felt better.
Now I'm adjusting my life to the new symptoms and trying to find a physiotherapy and a good doctor.
I felt exasperating pain and I hope I have strength to cope with the limitations and improve my health.
It's being a hard time. People say I'm strong. Yes. We are all, aren't we?
Yes we are.
Update:
Lady Gaga is dealing with arthritis. I'm not a big fan of her, I even dislike her but I hope she gets better soon.
She had to cancel a show.

Ariadne's Thread always guides
In Greek mythology Ariadne is the daughter of Pasiphaë and King Minos of Crete. She fell in love with Theseus and gave him the thread with which he found his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth after killing the Minotaur.
The expression "Ariadne thread" is the solving of a problem with multiple apparent means of proceeding - such as a physical maze, a logic puzzle, or an ethical dilemma to trace connections between different parts of what seems like an impenetrable maze.
I like to think about Ariadne's thread as the certainty that in the most difficult circunstances there is a thread to show the way out. Just pick a color and go.

Things that never change
In an era where uncertainty is in the back of the mind of all to keep going requires a little effort. Little things become important and the idea or thought of things that will always be there is a way of quieting our minds.
Imagining and thinking about them helps. I'm making, mentally, lists of some of these things. I'm accepting contributions. For the moment I have this list:
- the noise of rain when we are in bed under the covers;
- the smile of a child;
- the numerous hues of green of the leaves;
- the sound of a piano being played in the distance;
- a hug from someone we love;
- searching for a four leaf clove;
- blue, my favorite color;
- all the colors;
- friends visiting or phoning...
Your turn now. Don't forget to feed the fishes. Thank you.

Angry heart
...yes angry...
As a bug destroyed the posts I'll have to reformat an average of 800 posts that lost their paragraphs, the worse since it became very hard to read them, and all the formatting that took me time and patience to do will have to be redone.
Google Plus? Why on earth another social network? I have one already... blah blah... I think many people think the same.
NO! No walking for you today...
A friend got inspiration from my work three times and didn't say anything... ok... no problems. This should make this person angry not me... (surely this person will never see)
Why do I keep blogging?
WW3? The world is a concentration camp? Nazi ideas are back or it was me who didn't notice that they were always around?
grrrrr...
Stop all activities...
I don' like talking about myself. I'm just like all regular people and there is nothing special in my life to tell. That's one of the reasons there is fiction and art otherwise we would read and watch nothing but biographies and portraits and never surpass the mediocrity of our existence.
Humans are not defined by their profession. Whether a politician, a doctor, blue or white collar, rich, millionaire, middle class or poor it is all the same paradigm. It is a question of degree.
Creation, creativity, inventions and thoughts define humans.
I think it is funny when people want to hide their lives in a way that others would presume that they do incredible things. Some even insinuate an activity by saying a sentence without finishing:
"When I met Mr. Fitzgerald I real..." "Yesterday I went to dine wi..."
No, they don't know Mr Fitzgerald and surely dined pasta watching TV.
What about the rich or millionaires? Hallucinating they are superior to make it more credible they need others badly and use their power to make of others slaves. What a sophisticated prison they build to themselves.
Too much information... bye.. angry... angryyrywr hfGHUqebgflkdnvdnvodihg kahflahlkshg vh\adhagh

Is happiness the meaning of life?
