Dictatorship according to Muammar Gaddafi

"All political systems in the world today are a product of the struggle for power between alternative instruments of government. This struggle may be peaceful or armed, as is evidenced among classes, sects, tribes, parties or individuals. The outcome is always the victory of a particular governing structure - be it that of an individual, group, party or class - and the defeat of the people; the defeat of genuine democracy.

Political struggle that results in the victory of a candidate with, for example, 51 per cent of the votes leads to a dictatorial governing body in the guise of a false democracy, since 49 per cent of the electorate is ruled by an instrument of government they did not vote for, but which has been imposed upon them. Such is dictatorship. Besides, this political conflict may produce a governing body that represents only a minority. For when votes are distributed among several candidates, though one polls more than any other, the sum
of the votes received by those who received fewer votes might well constitute an overwhelming majority. However, the candidate with fewer votes wins and his success is regarded as legitimate and democratic! In actual fact, dictatorship is established under the cover of false democracy. This is the reality of the political systems prevailing in the world today. They are dictatorial systems and it is evident that they falsify genuine democracy."

To the person from Libya that visited this blog

This is the post that was visited: "Shirley Maclaine on disappointment."
(click at the images to enlarge)

Update:
Now I realized that I should have written something else in case the person is a Libyan. Time heals but the scars remain. After having your life destroyed in the level many Libyans have you become a survivor. Time will ease the pain but that moment, that second or minutes that made you lose family members or all you have, the torture, the rape, witnessing all kind of evil men can do - some people don't know and don't wanna know because it is not easy to face brutality in such level - will be part of you.

Live my Libyan friend, cry all you have to cry, mourn as much as you need. Time will ease your pain and you'll be able to tell your story in the past

Americans already voting for president

I do not understand. What is politics? What do politicians do?
Surely not what is being done in many countries for some decades. In US it is not only said that what they are doing politics but also that the country is a democracy with freedom of speech, and... Grr.
This is not what many Americans are telling me and what facts like Susan Lindauer's arrest and the threat to death of journalists in Libya by CNN and NATO... and...

This is sad and is costing numerous people's lives.
America. The land of opportunities?

Faites vos jeux!

In the meantime:

THERE WERE NO PROTESTERS IN BENGHAZI

The White House claims that protesters against that anti-Muslim video “spontaneously” attacked the so-called “consulate.”  In reality there were no protesters anywhere in Benghazi at the time of the attack. When Fox News questioned US officials about this, the officials admitted the truth. (13)

Nonetheless, the Obama administration/regime continues to insist that “protesters did it”. This lie not only conceals the Green Resistance; it also makes Muslims all seem irrational and blood-lusting, thereby justifying imperialist aggression (that is, the “war on terror”).

Serious journalists working for Al Jazeera?

I used to comment at Al Jazeera two years ago.
Yesterday I visited the site left some comments and  noticed that those good commenters are gone.
There were  very good comments that sometimes were better than the article or added very important issues making a very interesting exchange of knowledge and information.

It is over. The Islamophobics took over and the articles of good journalists are put in discredit through those famous arguments used in propaganda.
Above my last comment in Al Jazeera.

Update September 21:
"Al Jazeera English has been prostituted, and is no longer a reliable source of information."

"The first rumors emerged about a year ago, during the Libyan campaign, alleging that much of AJ's supposedly "live" coverage from Tripoli was actually shot upon a sound stage in Doha, (Qatar), which was made up to look just like the main square in Tripoli (Libya). Certainly, beyond a doubt, Al Jazeera was leading the charge in the information war against the Gaddafi regime."

Zionist Bernard Henri-Levy wants intervention in Syria

In November 2011 the Algerian journalist Bernard Henri-Levy said that: "It is as a Jew that I took part in the political adventure in Libya" and that he was "Faithful to Zionism and Israel." at the first national convention organized by the Council of French Jewish.

After helping the Libyan intervention he is now asking for the same in Syria. He wrote a letter to French president Hollande. Again as a Jew and a Zionist.

I hope these statements help some people understand why someone who has a BA in philosophy embraces causes that has as consequences genocides, tortures and numerous crimes against humanity.

US Ambassador in Libya killed by US Government

US-Backed Terrorists Murder US Ambassador in Libya
Murdered US Ambassador exposes Libya "progress" propaganda - provides a warning against US meddling in Syria
by Tony Cartalucci
Globalresearch, September 12, 20012

- “I have met with these brave fighters, and they are not Al-Qaeda. To the contrary: They are Libyan patriots who want to liberate their nation. We should help them do it.” – Senator John McCain in Benghazi, Libya April 22, 2011.
….
McCain’s “Libyan patriots” have now murdered US Ambassador John Christopher Stevens in the very city McCain spoke these words. An assault on the American consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, the epicenter of not only last year’s violent subversion and destruction of sovereign Libya, but a decade’s old epicenter of global terrorism, left Ambassador Stevens dead along with two of his aides.
The violence, Western media claims, stems from an anti-Islamic film produced in the US. In reality, the coordinated nature of the attacks on both the US Embassy in Libya, as well as its embassy in Cairo, Egypt, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, are most likely using the Neo-Conservative Clarion Fund-esque propaganda film as a false pretense for violence long-planned. The Clarion Fund regularly produces anti-Muslim propaganda, like “Iranium,” specifically to maintain a strategy of tension using fear and anger to drive a wedge between Western civilization and Islam to promote perpetual global wars of profit. emphasis added.

Image: Senator John McCain in the terrorist rat nest of Benghazi after marshaling cash, weapons, and political support for militants tied directly to Al Qaeda. McCain’s insistence that the terrorists he helped arm and install into power were “not Al Qaeda” runs contra to the US Army’s own reports which state that Benghazi’s terror brigades officially merged with Al Qaeda in 2007. McCain’s “Libyan patriots” have now killed US Ambassador Stevens with RPG’s most likely procured with cash and logistic networks set up by NATO last year, part of a supranational terror campaign that includes violently subverting Syria – a campaign McCain also supports.

NATO Knowingly Handed Libya to Al Qaeda
Indeed, the US Army’s West Point Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) noted that Benghazi and the neighboring city of Darnah served a disproportionately high role in supplying foreign fighters to wage terror against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan – foot soldiers brought in to fuel a destructive and divisive sectarian war that undermined a united Sunni-Shi’ia resistance to Western troops who had invaded.
Image: In Benghazi, in front of the very courthouse McCain and other representatives of the West’s corporate-financier driven foreign policy voiced support for Libya’s terror brigades, sectarian extremists took the streets waving the flag of Al Qaeda, even hoisting it atop the Benghazi courthouse itself. Despite a concerted effort by Western media houses to portray Libya as in the hands of progressive democratic secularists, the country was intentionally handed over to extremists to serve as a base of militancy to destabilize and destroy targets of Western interest around the word.
….
The men McCain was defending were Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) militants, terrorists linked directly with Al Qaeda according to West Point reports (.pdf), and listed to this day by the US State Department, the UK Home Office (.pdf), and the UN as a “foreign terrorist organization.” McCain was not only rhetorically supporting listed terrorists, but calling for material support including weapons, funds, training, and air support in direct violation of USC § 2339A & 2339B, “providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations.”
These same terrorists are now not only the defacto rulers of much of Libya, but are leading death squads in Syria and arming militants in Mali, an exponential expansion made possible by a non-partisan effort including Republicans and Democrats, as well as Bush-era Neo-Conservatives who concurrently lead both anti-Islam propaganda while leading calls to arm the most radical sectarian extremist groups, including groups directly affiliated with Al Qaeda.
Syria is Next
Not only has US policy been exposed as not “promoting democracy” but purposefully spreading destabilization, violence, and terrorism, but the exact same militants behind the death of the US’ own ambassador are literally leading US efforts to visit the same violence, destabilization, and chaos upon Syria. emphasis added
Reuters, in their article, “Libyan fighters join Syrian revolt,” reported, that Mahdi al-Harati, “a powerful militia chief from Libya’s western mountains,” who is actually a militant of the US, British, and UN listed terrorist organization Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), “now leads a unit in Syria, made up mainly of Syrians but also including some foreign fighters, including 20 senior members of his own Libyan rebel unit.” Reuters would go on to explain, “the Libyans aiding the Syrian rebels include specialists in communications, logistics, humanitarian issues and heavy weapons,” and that they “operate training bases, teaching fitness and battlefield tactics.”
Image: Libyan Mahdi al-Harati of the US State Department, United Nations, and the UK Home Office (page 5, .pdf)-listed terrorist organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), addressing fellow terrorists in Syria. Harati is now commanding a Libyan brigade operating inside of Syria attempting to destroy the Syrian government and subjugate the Syrian population. Traditionally, this is known as “foreign invasion.”
….
Reuters concedes that the ongoing battle has nothing to do with democracy, but instead is purely a sectarian campaign aimed at “pushing out” Syria’s minorities, perceived to be “oppressing” “Sunni Muslims.”
Reuters’ propaganda piece is rounded off with a Libyan terrorist allegedly threatening that “the militancy would spread across the region as long as the West does not do more to hasten the downfall of Assad,” a talking point plucked straight from the halls of America’s corporate-financier funded think-tanks. In fact, just such a think-tank, the Foreign Policy Initiative, recently published astatement signed by Bush-era Neo-Conservatives stating:
“America’s national security interests are intertwined with the fate of the Syrian people and the wider region.  Indeed, Syria’s escalating conflict now threatens to directly affect the country’s neighbors, including Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Israel, and could provide an opening for terrorist groups like al Qaeda to exploit.”
Along with “War on Terror” proponent John McCain, Al Qaeda’s LIFG and America’s Neo-Con establishment are now operating in tandem, as well as in direct contradiction to a decade of “War on Terror” propaganda. It should be remembered that those who signed this statement, including Elliott Abrams, Max Boot, Ellen Bork, William Kristol, Paul Bremer, Paula Dobriansk, Douglas Feith, Robert Kagan, Clifford D. May, Stephen Rademaker, Michael Weiss, Radwan Ziadeh, were among the very engineers of the fraudulent “War on Terror” that McCain himself is such a fervent supporter of. Radwan Ziadeh, last on the list, is in fact a “Syrian National Council” member – one of several proxies the US State Department is hoping to slip into power in Syria.
Russia, China, Iran, and Others Oppose Terrorism in Syria for a Reason
With Libya’s “democratic progress” exposed as only tenuously covering up NATO’s creation of a nation-wide safe haven for Al Qaeda terrorists to subsequently be deployed against the West’s political enemies across he Arab World and beyond, it will be even more difficult, if not impossible to continue promoting this same “change” in Syria.  Libya, through direct action of NATO, has been overrun by terrorists. Syria’s government is desperately trying to prevent its people from being likewise overrun.
And even as the US buries its own ambassador, killed by terror brigades it itself armed and thrust into power through covert and direct military intervention, in a nation now wrecked by sectarian and tribal infighting, it insists on replicating its “success” in Syria.
Russia, China, Iran, and a growing number of nations have been opposing this campaign of supranational terrorism – with the death of Ambassador Stevens laying bare the true nature of America’s proxy “freedom fighters,” the list of global opposition will only grow, leaving only the most shameless and deeply invested to defend America’s invasive and bloody foreign policy.

URGENT: NATO preparing genocide in Syria: desinformation campaign first step

URGENT

NATO preparing vast disinformation campaign

by Thierry Meyssan

Member States of NATO and the GCC are preparing a coup d’état and a sectarian genocide in Syria. If you want to prevent these crimes, you should act now: circulate this article on the Internet and alert your elected officials.

VOLTAIRE NETWORK | DAMASCUS (SYRIA) | 11 JUNE 2012

In a few days, perhaps as early as Friday, June 15, at noon, the Syrians wanting to watch their national TV stations will see them replaced on their screens by TV programs created by the CIA. Studio-shot images will show massacres that are blamed on the Syrian Government, people demonstrating, ministers and generals resigning from their posts, President Al-Assad fleeing, the rebels gathering in the big city centers, and a new government installing itself in the presidential palace.

This operation of disinformation, directly managed from Washington by Ben Rhodes, the US deputy national security adviser for strategic communication, aims at demoralizing the Syrians in order to pave the way for a coup d’etat. NATO, discontent about the double veto of Russia and China, will thus succeed in conquering Syria without attacking the country illegally. Whichever judgment you might have formed on the actual events in Syria, a coup d’etat will end all hopes of democratization.

The Arab League has officially asked the satellite operators Arabsat and Nilesat to stop broadcasting Syrian media, either public or private (Syria TV, Al-Ekbariya, Ad-Dounia, Cham TV, etc.) A precedent already exists because the Arab League had managed to censure Libyan TV in order to keep the leaders of the Jamahiriya from communicating with their people. There is no Hertz network in Syria, where TV works exclusively with satellites. The cut, however, will not leave the screens black.

Actually, this public decision is only the tip of the iceberg. According to our information several international meetings were organized during the past week to coordinate the disinformation campaign. The first two were technical meetings, held in Doha (Qatar); the third was a political meeting and took place in Riyad (Saudi Arabia).

The first meeting assembled PSYOP officers, embedded in the satellite TV channels of Al-Arabiya, Al-Jazeera, BBC, CNN, Fox, France 24, Future TV and MTV. It is known that since 1998, the officers of the US Army Psychological Operations Unit (PSYOP) have been incorporated in CNN. Since then this practice has been extended by NATO to other strategic media as well.

They fabricated false information in advance, on the basis of a “story-telling” script devised by Ben Rhodes’s team at the White House. A procedure of reciprocal validation was installed, with each media quoting the lies of the other media to render them plausible for TV spectators. The participants also decided not only to requisition the TV channels of the CIA for Syria and Lebanon (Barada, Future TV, MTV, Orient News, Syria Chaab, Syria Alghad) but also about 40 religious Wahhabi TV channels to call for confessional massacres to the cry of “Christians to Beyrouth, Alawites into the grave!.”

The second meeting was held for engineers and technicians to fabricate fictitious images, mixing one part in an outdoor studio, the other part with computer generated images. During the past weeks, studios in Saudi Arabia have been set up to build replicas of the two presidential palaces in Syria and the main squares of Damascus, Aleppo and Homs. Studios of this type already exist in Doha (Qatar), but they are not sufficient.

The third meeting was held by General James B. Smith, the US ambassador, a representative of the UK, prince Bandar Bin Sultan (whom former U.S. president George Bush named his adopted son so that the U.S. press called him “Bandar Bush”). In this meeting the media actions were coordinated with those of the Free "Syrian" Army, in which prince Bandar’s mercenaries play a decisive role.

The operation had been in the making for several months, but the U.S. National Security Council decided to accelerate the action after the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, notified the White House that he would oppose by all means, even by force, any illegal NATO military intervention in Syria.

The operation has a double intent: the first is to spread false information, the second aims at censuring all possible responses.

The hampering of TV satellites for military purposes is not new. Under pressure from Israel, the USA and the EU blocked Lebanese, Palestinian, Iraqi, Libyan and Iranian TV channels, one after the other. However, no satellite channels from other parts of the world were censured.

The broadcast of false news is also not new, but four significant steps have been taken in the art of propaganda during the last decade.
• In 1994, a pop music station named “Free Radio of the Thousand Hills” (RTML) gave the signal for genocide in Rwanda with the cry, “Kill the cockroaches!”
• In 2001, NATO used the media to impose an interpretation of the 9/11 attacks and to justify its own aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq. At that time already, it was Ben Rhodes who had been commissioned by the Bush administration to concoct the Kean/Hamilton Commission report on the attacks.
• In 2002, the CIA used five TV channels (Televen, Globovision, ValeTV and CMT) to make the public in Venezuela believe that phantom demonstrators had captured the elected president, Hugo Chávez, forcing him to resign. In reality he was the victim of a military coup d’etat.
• In 2011, France 24 served as information ministry for the Libyan CNT, according to a signed contract. During the battle of Tripoli, NATO produced fake studio films, then transmitted them via Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya, showing phantom images of Libyan rebels on the central square of the capital city, while in reality they were still far away. As a consequence, the inhabitants of Tripoli were persuaded that the war was lost and gave up all resistance.

Nowadays the media do not only support a war, they produce it themselves.

This procedure violates the principles of International Law, first of all Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights relating to the fact of receiving and imparting information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” Above all, the procedure violates the United Nations General Assembly resolution, adopted after the end of World War II, to prevent further wars. Resolutions 110, 381 and 819 forbid “to set obstacles to free exchange of information and ideas” (like cutting off Syrian TV channels) and “all propaganda provoking or encouraging threats to peace, breaking peace, and all acts of aggression”. By law, war propaganda is a crime against peace, the worst of crimes, because it facilitates war crimes and genocide.

Libya divided: the state of Barqa is declared semi-autonomous

I just read it at S.O.S Lybia:
"Today's conference said the new eastern Libya state, which they named "Barqa", will have its own parliament, police force, courts and capital — Benghazi— to run its own affairs. The plan seeks to revive the pre-Gadhafi system in place from 1951 until 1963, when Libya, ruled by a monarchy, was divided into three states: Tripolitania in the west, Fezzan in the southwest and Cyrenaica in the east — or Barqa, as it was called in Arabic." (read the whole article)

Nothing was reported at the mainstream media.

Brutal rape to death of UK journalist by NATO in Libya: human rights activists where are you?

Update Feb, 24: The video was also censured at Vimeo. It is haunting the minds of those who watched and cannot forget the brutality. It hurts.
The YouTube censured version was also deleted.

YouTube censured the video because of the "shocking and disgusting content".
Now a censured version has appeared and some people have translated what the men are saying.
I have this video saved as draft and I'm still thinking if it is right to publish or not. The images are shocking, brutal and... no words as always.

I'm searching for reports of what is happening in Libya now and, as expected, the mainstream media is not reporting the numerous crimes that is being committed at Libya.
The mainstream media helped and keeps helping NATO. This video is about CNN creating false videos of  Gaddafi's soldiers rape. They used porno movies.

There are many videos at YouTube that show images that are more shocking than this one and even the rape of a girl...
Go to YouTube and watch the macabre and satanic rituals that US, Israel,  UK and France, using NATO to do the job, is doing in Libya.

Not even the independent media is denouncing these heinous crimes.
I decided that publishing the video, and I ask this British journalist to forgive me for showing these images, is the only way to raise awareness about these horrors, this barbaric and unbelievable display of how bestial and monstrous we, human beings, are.

For one year, the invasion started in March, 2011,  NATO is killing innocent civilians in Libya. Why they keep doing it? They have killed Gaddafi without trial, destroyed the country, destroyed water pipelines, destroyed faith, carped bombed the country killing more than 60.000 civilians... what else do they want?
These is Nazism, this is fascism...
...this is not acceptable.

Any person who keeps ignoring these crimes is responsible.
UK doesn't care about this woman, Amnesty International is campaigning for Syria intervention but not a single line about numerous crimes that are happening in Libya.

Human Right Watch does not care. Governments... we already know very well that they only do the crimes.
Where on earth are the human rights activists when people really need them?
Are there human right activists that are unbiased?  Stop the macabre and satanic rituals of murders in Libya.

Angelina Jolie: Praising NATO for killing 60.000 Libyans

I'm not sure if Angelina Jolie is aware of what she is really doing being ambassador for United Nations as GoodWill and United Nations refugee agency UNHCR.
Every time she visits a country instead of hope it is anger she inspires on those who are fighting for their country.
This is a very sad situation.
She is expressing sympathy for the devil when she praises Libyan's "revolutionaries" - or" rebels" - or the transitional council.
Does she think that the revolutionaries are Libyans?
Please, could  anybody inform her that the so-called "revolutionaries" or "rebels" is NATO not the people of Libya? She should also be informed that it was not a revolution. On the contrary: it was an invasion that destroyed the whole country and killed 60.000 civilians and they are still torturing, killing and massacring Libyans.
Soon she will be visiting Syria and again she will praise crimes against humanity.
How someone accept to work for United Nations without knowing the consequences of this position?
This is sad. She is helping misinforming and distorting the truth every time she makes a speech:
""I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level and to witness efforts to fully realize the promise of the Arab Spring," Jolie said on Oct. 11, 2011 in her visit to Libya.
"I'm also here on behalf of the Libyan people to show them solidarity. I think this revolution on behalf of human rights, which is what I feel these people really have been doing and what they have pushed for, and to help them to implement these new laws and help them with the future of their country."
Revolution on behalf of human rights? Transition? Arab Spring? New laws for the future of the country? This is outrageous.
She should go back or at least search for information about what is happening in Libya now or read the messages Libyans are sending her in comments where she appears doing her "humanitarian aid".
Take a look at this video Angelina. It is a NATO Spring not an Arab Spring that has been happening.

Sean Penn in Libya helping NATO do their work
I just found out that Sean Penn had visited Libya two weeks before Angelina. What is happening to Hollywood celebrities? Seriously! A Hall of Shame should be created for those who don't know what they are really doing. This is what I hope that is happening because it sounds unbelievable that these people are helping massacres.
Who are the rebels? Read this article by Peter Dale Scott.

NATO rape Libyan journalist and cut her breast

This is what is happening in Libya. Yes, it is still happening. Barbarians, monsters... I don't find adjectives that describe what is being done not only in Libya.
Is it what is called "evolution"?
Those who are responsible are having a great life in their penthouses feeling no remorse.
What about those who receive these orders and... OBEY?
Criminals... this is the word for both but it seems that being called a criminal nowadays has a certain charm for some.
These crimes must be punished!

Picture: the millionaire French philosopher and Israeli lobbyist Bernard Henri Levy and French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
I'm sure that they are both happy with the humanitarian aid they are promoting in Libya, and we also have to thank US and the other allies.
Good job! This is democracy being implanted in Libya and all the other countries invaded, oops, that received NATO's humanitarian aid.

2011 top news in cartoon

These are two cartoons by Giacomo Cardelli that I did choose to start the series of posts about 2011 top news. The first one was a good news but we have witnessed some events that show how barbarian, brutal, irrational and cruel the system that rules this world is.
The right cartoon... bloodshed in north Africa had Libya as the most documented by independent journalist and it was a demonstration of brutality with the help of the mainstream media making fictitious stories to explain the need of crimes against humanity (here, here and here).
Reports of famine in Somalia, caused by drought - lie, lie, lie - were announced but forgotten. Africa is going backwards but the same is happening in America.
Left: Wow! United Nations! Nothing changed. The assemblies are held, nothing changes and in the end the security council, five permanent member China, France, Russia, UK and US decide what to do and if you do the maths(?) three is the exact number of nations that really decide.
If you follow this blog you might have noticed that I stopped posting about politics as I explained in a prior post and I pretend keep this way for a while because looking closely to what is being done requires a lot of cold blood.
I don't have it and a lot of physical and mental energy is consumed by watching and reading barbaric attitudes. Some people like blood but I can't hardly see mine because I feel like fainting.
The possibility of the WW3 is on the horizon and I never thought I would witness one in this lifetime.
On the contrary, I thought some of the images I saw when I was a teenager would be banished but... no. It didn't happen.

ICC International or African Criminal Court?

Situation in the Central African Republic

Situation in Darfur, Sudan

©UN Photo / Stuart PriceICC-02/05-01/09 The Prosecutor v. Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir
ICC-02/05-02/09 The Prosecutor v. Bahar Idriss Abu Garda
ICC-02/05-03/09 The Prosecutor v. Abdallah Banda Abakaer Nourain and Saleh Mohammed Jerbo Jamus
It is amazing that the few cases of the International Criminal Justice are against African men. These are the cases of those who are being prosecuted by ICC in Congo, Uganda and Darfur: Situation in Democratic Republic of the Congo:
C-01/04-01/06

Case The Prosecutor v. Thomas Lubanga Dyilo;
ICC-01/04-01/07
Case The Prosecutor v. Germain Katanga and
Mathieu Ngudjolo Chui; Decision on the Joinder of the Cases against Germain KATANGA and Mathieu NGUDJOLO CHUI;
ICC-01/04-02/06
Case The Prosecutor v. Bosco Ntaganda;
CC-01/04-01/10
Case The Prosecutor v. Callixte Mbarushimana

Now the ICC is craving to have Qaddafi's son Seif al-Islam, that was arrested today, under trial which would explain the proposal of a growth of €14.12 million on the approved Budget for 2011 setting out a request of €117.73 million. One of the reasons:

"In particular, additional resources are essential to conduct an effective investigation into crimes committed in Libya and to fund a significant increase in judicial activities (including legal aid). In fact, as set out in section 3 below, the Team is concerned that the Court continues to underfund its activities in a number of areas." (emphasis added)

US is still an observer which reinforces a participation that promotes their interests with the convenience of being above the law since U.S. didn't even sign the Rome statute.
It would be realistic to change from International Criminal Court to African Criminal Court.

Libya's conscience, Mahdi Nazemroaya, on Qaddafi and Libya's wealth

I have seen all the videos Mahdi did and read all the articles he wrote. I think of him when I'm very sad and angry about what US and it's allies did and are doing in Libya. I thought I had seen enough about human's cruelty but the tortures, the killings, the fiction that was done by the corporate media covering all up, journalists will have to answer for their crimes because inventing stories to help the killing of innocents is crossing all lines, the Qaddafi's murder... everything is kind of new for me. It has all reached a degree that it is hard to think of these rulers as human beings.
Calling them psychopath is not the answer. They are cruel, pure and simple. I have no words to describe what I feel or even how to name some of these crimes. Jurisprudence will have to make some changes in face of some heinous crimes that are being committed in the name of... humanitarian aid and exportation of democracy and other philanthropic and peaceful actions. We have a saying in Brazil: "The hell is full of well intentioned people." This is Mahdi's last article that I want to share with you.

WHO WAS MUAMMAR QADDAFI? LIBYA'S WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION PROJECT
by Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya
Colonel Muammar Qaddafi symbolizes many things to many different people around the world. Love or hate the Libyan leader, under his rule Libya transformed from one of the poorest countries on the face of the planet into the country with the highest standard of living in Africa. In the words of Professor Henri Habibi:

When Libya was granted its independence by the United Nations on December 24, 1951, it was described as one of the poorest and most backward nations of the world. The population at the time was not more than 1.5 million, was over 90% illiterate, and had no political experience or knowhow. There were no universities, and only a limited number of high schools which had been established seven years before independence. [1]
Qaddafi had many grand plans. He wanted to create a South Atlantic Treaty Organization to protect Africa and Latin America. He advocated for a gold dinar standard as the currency of Muslim countries. Many of his plans were also of a pan-African nature. This included the formation of a United States of Africa.

Qaddafi’s Pan-African Projects
Colonel Qaddafi started the Great Man-Made River, which consisted in a massive project to transform the Sahara Desert and reverse the desertification of Africa. The Great Man-Made River with its irrigation plans was also intended to support the agricultural sector in other parts of Africa. This project was a military target of NATO bombings. Without just cause, NATO’s bombing campaign was intent upon destroying the Great Man-Made River.
Qaddafi also envisioned independent pan-African financial institutions.

The Libyan Investment Authority and the Libyan Foreign Bank were important players in setting up these institutions. Qaddafi, through the Libyan Foreign Bank and the Libyan Investment Authority, was instrumental in setting up Africa’s first satellite network, the Regional African Satellite Communication Organization (RASCOM), to reduce African dependence on external powers. [2]

His crowning achievement would have been the creation of the United States of Africa. The supranational entity would have been created through the African Investment Bank, the African Monetary Fund, and finally the African Central Bank. These institutions were all viewed with animosity by the European Union, United States, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and World Bank.

Qaddafi’s Wealth Redistribution Project
Qaddafi had a wealth redistribution project inside Libya. U.S. Congressional sources in a report to the U.S. Congress even acknowledge this. On February 18, 2011 one report states:

In March 2008, [Colonel Qaddafi] announced his intention to dissolve most government administrative bodies and institute a Wealth Distribution Program whereby state oil revenues would be distributed to citizens on a monthly basis for them to administer personally, in cooperation, and via local committees. Citing popular criticism of government performance in a long, wide ranging speech, [he] repeatedly stated that the traditional state would soon be “dead” in Libya and that direct rule by citizens would be accomplished through the distribution of oil revenues. [The military], foreign affairs, security, and oil production arrangements reportedly would remain national government responsibilities, while other bodies would be phased out. In early 2009, Libya’s Basic People’s Congresses considered variations of the proposals, and the General People’s Congress voted to delay implementation. [3]
Qaddafi wanted all the people of Libya to have direct access to the nation’s wealth. He was also aware of the deep rooted corruption that plagued the ranks of the Libyan government. This was one of the reasons why he wanted to apply a model of political anarchy in Libya through progressive steps.

He was talking about both these project for a few years. On the other hand, the Wealth Redistribution Project, along with the establishment of an anarchist political system, was viewed as a very serious threat by the U.S., the E.U., and a group of corrupt Libyan officials. If successful, the reforms could have created political unrest amongst many domestic populations around the world. Internally, many Libyan officials were working to delay the project. This included reaching out to external powers to intervene in Libya to stop Qaddafi and his projects.

Why Mahmoud Jibril Joined the Transitional Council

Amongst the Libyan officials that were heavily opposed to this project and viewed it with horror was Mahmoud Jibril. Jibril was put into place by Saif Al-Islam Qaddafi. Because of strong influence and advice from the U.S. and the E.U., Saif Al-Islam selected Jibril to transform the Libyan economy and impose a wave of neo-liberal economic reforms that would open the Libyan market.

Jibril became the head of two bodies in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, the National Planning Council of Libya and National Economic Development Board of Libya. While the National Economic Development Board was a regular ministry, the National Planning Council would actually put Jibril in a government position above that of the Office of the General-Secretary of the People’s Committee of Libya (which is the equivalent of the post of a prime minister). Jibril actually became one of the forces that opened the doors of privatization and poverty in Libya.
About six months before the conflict erupted in Libya, Mahmoud Jibiril actually met with Bernard-Henri Lévy in Australia to discuss forming the Transitional Council and deposing Colonel Qaddafi. [4] He described Qaddafi’s Wealth Redistribution Project as “crazy” in minutes and documents from the National Economic Development Board of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. [5] Jibril strongly believed that the Libyan masses were not fit to govern themselves and that an elite should always control the fate and wealth of any nation. What Jibril wanted to do is downsize the Libyan government and layoff a large segment of the public sector, but in exchange increase government regulations in Libya. He would also always cite Singapore as the perfect example of a neo-liberal state. While in Singapore, which he regularly visited, it is likely that he also meet with Bernard-Henri Lévy.

When the problems erupted in Benghazi, Mahmoud Jibril immediately went to Cairo, Egypt. He told his colleagues that he would be back in Tripoli soon, but he had no intention of returning. In reality, he went to Cairo to meet the leaders of the Syrian National Council and Lévy. They were all waiting for him inside Cairo to coordinate the events in Libya and Syria. This is one of the reasons that the Transitional Council has recognized the Syrian National Council as the legitimate government of Syria. Do Not Pity the Dead, Pity the Living! Muammar Qaddafi is now dead. He was murdered in his hometown of Sirte. He stood his ground until the end like he said he would. The Transitional Council, which vowed to take him to court had him murdered.

He even reminded the men who beat him, anally raped him, mocked him, and finally murdered him that they were not following the laws of Islam about respectful treatment of prisoners. NATO played a central role and oversaw the whole event. The murder was systematic, because after Qaddafi was murdered his son and several other Libyan leaders were killed too. Colonel Qaddafi’s death marks a historic milestone for Libya. An old era has ended in Libya and a new chapter begins. Libya will not become a new paradise like the Transitional Council says. In many cases the living will envy the dead, because of men like Mahmoud Jibril, Ali Tarhouni, and Sliman Bouchuiguir. Mahmoud Jibril is a mere opportunist. The man had no problems being a government official under the late Qaddafi.

He never complained about human rights or a lack of democracy. He was the prime minister of the Transitional Council of Libya until a few days after the savage murder of Colonel Qaddafi. The opposition of Jibril to the late Qaddafi’s Wealth Redistribution Project and his elitist attitude are amongst the reasons he conspired against Qaddafi and helped form the Transitional Council.

Is this ex-regime official, who has always been an open supporter of the Arab dictators in the Persian Gulf, really a representative and champion of the people? How about his colleagues in the Transitional Council who negotiated oil contracts with NATO member states, even before they held any so-called government positions in the Transitional Council?
