Toulouse-Lautrec portrayed Melanie Griffith

It was watching the movie "Shining Through" that I recognized who is the woman Toulouse-Lautrec took as a model for the painting on the left.
It was Melanie Griffith.
I hope that this fact is recognized by the art-world and historians dare to accept the truth.

Find 75 rock bands in this picture

It was in 2006 that the site Mighty Optical Illusion did challenged his readers to find 75 rock bands in this picture.
I have a picture with the answers and I'll publish it tomorrow.
Have fun for the moment and if you want to find films, M&Ms, Vodka you can go to their site and download the picture.
I believe it was the beginning of the games "Hidden Objects".

(if you follow me you know that I have already found my favorite band in the sky - left. I'm done.)

Language and Culture trivia

Trivia questions related to the language and culture of France, Germany and Japan

I hope you have fun. Remember it is "trivia" but who knows when one has to know Kazakhstan capital for instance?
You're walking and someone appears with a mic and pop the question saying the correct answer
will have one million dollars.
Who knows? Stop being pessimist.

I liked "SlideShare". I'm doing something to share.

Beauty is overrated

Rowan Atkinson has a label at this blog. Mr. Brad doesn't. Why?
Have a great October!

Bubble Shooter as a arrangement creator

This is the game from the post below.
I played a first time for real and after noticing that there are many beautiful colors and shapes I stopped playing the right way.

My goal was forming the most diverse forms of arrangements and as the levels change and new colors appear it was nice seeing them especially when listening to nice songs I have selected. (click the images to enlarge)

In the ocean chasing urchins

URCHIN MERCHANT

I  found this bubble shooter here and felt like sharing. It has many levels and new items appear while we
advance. It is not difficult and it's quite relaxing.
There is a "mute" button at the top or the game's screen if you get tired of the sound.
Description Urchin Merchant
Collect Sea Urchins by matching 3 of a kind. Control the game with the mouse.

Personality test

It has not been tested by the current scientific methodology which turns it into a more unbiased and accurate result.
Totally FDA-free.
The last time I tested: Funny, Pure and Care. Maybe it was my mood.

Name that thing! Things you might not know that have a name

There are some quizzes at the Merriam-Webster site that are very interesting. How do you name the part of the hammer used to take the spike out? There is a name for that.
Take the quizzes here: Name that thing; True or False and Vocabulary quiz are the three types of questions.
Enjoy!
Answer of the images above: Corinthian Column; Bugle; Tasmanian Devil and Cumulus Cloud.

The intriguing cube

I found this animated gif and felt like sharing. This is very intriguing if we stop thinking how it was done and
just look at it.
It looks like another dimension.

Coloring through optical illusion

1  stare at the red star on the girl’s nose for 30 seconds;
2  look at the white rectangle;

The most insanely obvious signs

I found the site AcidCow.com and got these two of their "most insanely obvious signs" because they are at the same time funny and the photos are beautiful.
I decided to publish only one picture because they have to be in a certain scale in order to be seen properly. I'll publish the other in another post.
Have a great weekend!
