World Cup 2014 humiliation and indignity: Brazil vs Germany match and FIFA's scandal

I've watched the game, you might have watched it too so you now that Germany did 5 goals in 29 minutes and more 2 goals and Brazil only one. The Horror!

Everywhere in the media the words: humiliation and indignity.
It was appalling watching the five goals but even being such a terrible defeat I don't see any humiliation or indignity.
Amazement, sadness, disappointment, anger... but humiliation?

To humiliate:
make (someone) feel ashamed and foolish by injuring their dignity and self-respect, especially publicly.

The shame was not inflicted by Germans.
Brazilians self-inflicted the shame because of the expection of a normal game when the results usually have the numbers 1, 2 and when 3 is achieved it is a surprise.
Nobody lost the dignity and self-respect because something so unusual happened. Till now it is difficult to explain - for some it is easy to point to X, Y or Z but for the vast majority it was unexpected and confusing.

No, it was not an humiliation. It was a historical event because of the number 7 that is for the first time reached in a world cup. But this is part of the game. Just another number to add to the list.

Humiliation and indignity is what FIFA is doing with the black market of tickets for more than two decades.
"The Telegraph" coverage about Raymond Whelan's imprisonment by Brazilian police depict the unscrupulous and criminal fact as an "embarrassment" to FIFA while the defeat of Brazilian team as it was a catastrophe of deadly proportions using and abusing pictures of people crying and full of apocalyptic adjectives.

This is what the mainstream media do all the time: covers up the crimes and exposes what sells and we have to admit that tears sell a lot.

The games will start today and there is something very strange happening in Brazil. People are protesting because CIA started preparing the protests just like in Egypt and other countries.

Brazilians have not a clue that these protests are not grassroots.

Russia Today considers "nazi-regime" as offensive language

I wrote the following comment at RT and received the advice "Your comment contains offensive language. Please modify the text in order to have it posted":

"I'm Brazilian and lived under dictatorship because US wanted.
Now US government is treating their own citizens in the most totalitarian nazi-regime way.
Justin Carter, 19 years-old,is in jail because he wrote a sarcastic phrase at Facebook.
These are the cases we that are being exposed.
Don't delude yourself: American citizens are being put in jail, tortured and killed without without any trial.
That's how dictatorships are done and if you're not convinced that America is under a dictatorship you should stop reading the mainstream media and do a research.
Americans! Please do something to save your country!"

I did the comment without the "nazi-regime and it was accepted.

"The American Empire stands naked, called out by one man among a hundred thousand who knew its dirty secrets and systematic betrayal of the world's trust.

While international politics in the West has been leaping over each other to suck up to The Empire's New Clothes following September 11, 2001, the United States wasted no time in reinforcing the order of Pax Americana - that the US would establish peace in the world through superior firepower.

The world was turned into a simple black-and-white "You're with us, or you're against us." In the decade that followed, many countries that were inconvenient to Pax Americana were invaded, none of which had anything to do with the events on September 11.

The rattling of sabers were reminiscent of a high school bully: "if you don't accept that we can do whatever we want, we might be mean to you, so behave." Or, as US Secretary of State John Kerry expressed that sentence in just slightly more diplomatic language recently: "Hand over Snowden, or there may be consequences."

Most people in the United States aren't aware that their country is acting like their hated high school bully to most of the rest of the world. The few who do tend to take it with humor: bumper stickers have been seen satirizing this as "Be nice to America, or we'll bring democracy to your country", playing on the media spin that every war of aggression to maintain Pax Americana is about "bringing democracy" somewhere.

So when one man, Edward Snowden, reveals to the world that the Empire stands naked and that it really has been behaving like a bully, wiretapping everybody wholesale, there are shockwaves. But that's where the similarities with the folklore tale ends. Where the naked emperor cringed and realized the game was up, the naked Empire instead chooses to keep rewarding sucking up, pretending that nothing has been revealed at all, and to punish the whistleblower at all costs as a warning to others.

Politicians in the United States have been quick to call Snowden this, that and the other thing. No wonder. The surveillance hawks who couldn't care less of the human rights of the world would much rather talk about Edward Snowden as an individual than about the fact that the world's trust in the United States has been systematically betrayed wholesale.

Take Microsoft software as an important example. As part of the NSA unravelings, it was uncovered that Microsoft gives security holes to the National Security Agency for exploiting before it sends out security repair patches to its users and customers - essentially betraying the trust of every customer worldwide, and making sure that no government, corporation, or media outlet can ever trust Microsoft products again: for Microsoft gave the master key to every customers' operations to the NSA.

Without Snowden setting the ball rolling, we would not have known this, and we would continue to have been owned - in the hacker and literal sense of the word - by the United States. Now, we can at least see that any Microsoft-developed software, and probably any closed US-developed software, is a huge security risk that no nation outside the United States can afford to take.

Today, Snowden is said to be comfortable on the inside of Sheremetyevo Airport outside Moscow, pending new travel documents being issued by some friendly country. (You have to love the fact that he's enraging US bully hawks by planning his trip to China, Russia, Cuba, and Venezuela. The only thing missing would be a trip to Pyongyang with a stopover in Tehran - and we find ourselves rooting for the countries that shield him, those countries we have been told sternly are black-and-white evil.)

What's really interesting is how other people who have had their doubts about the United States have started to come forward. There are now rumors that those who have been doubting the Empire's ability to pay back its enormous debts are starting to raise their voices about it. No wonder: the United States has long been bankrupt, but people have been... pretending... otherwise to make sure that a crash to the world economy doesn't happen on their watch.

If the doubts in creditworthiness take hold, things can come crashing down quicker than you would expect. Compare with 1987, at what felt like the height of the Cold War - who would have guessed that the Soviet Union would be formally dissolved just four years later?

If history teaches us anything, it is that all empires come to an end. History books could theoretically point at Snowden's leak of conscience as the starting point of major, major changes to the geopolitical order. At least they ended a blind and naive trust in the United States' interest in doing good for anybody but itself."

You must know about feminists burning bras but might never heard of "Miss America Protest".

Bras were not burned as the media reported. The outrageous and sensationalist action that never happened overshadowed the issues that women were bringing to discussion,

This is what happened according to Jo Freeman:

In 1968 and 1969 women's liberation staged demonstrations at the annual Miss America Beauty pageant held in Atlantic City, NJ. The 1968 protest shocked the country, creating a lot of publicity, and some myths, about the new movement. The 1969 protest was smaller and was largely ignored.

The 1968 protest originated with New York Radical Women, one of the earliest women's liberation groups in the country. About 150 feminists from six cities joined them to show how all women were hurt by beauty competitions. They argued that the contest declared that the most important thing about a woman is how she looks by parading women around like cattle to show off their physical attributes. All women were made to believe they were inferior because they couldn't measure up to Miss America beauty standards. Women's liberation would "attack the male chauvinism, commercialization of beauty, racism and oppression of women symbolized by the Pageant."

The Atlanta City convention center opens onto a vast boardwalk between it and the beach. The large expanse of boards easily seen from the entrance makes it a great place for demonstrations. Women's liberation took advantage of this to stage several guerilla theater actions. A live sheep was crowned Miss America. Objects of female oppression -- high heeled shoes, girdles, bras, curlers, tweezers -- were tossed into a Freedom Trash Can. A proposal to burn the can's contents was scuttled when the police said that a fire would pose a risk to the wooden boardwalk. Women sang songs that parodied the contest and the idea of selling women's bodies: "Ain't she sweet; making profits off her meat." A tall, Miss America puppet was auctioned off.

Sixteen feminists bought tickets to the evening's entertainment. They smuggled in a banner reading WOMEN'S LIBERATION. Sitting in the front row of the balcony, they unfurled it as the outgoing Miss America made her farewell speech, while shouting "Freedom for Women," and "No More Miss America." The pageant continued as though nothing had happened. This action was quickly followed by the release of two stink bombs on the floor of the hall. All protestors were removed from the hall; five were arrested, but later released.

The outrageousness of challenging the Miss America icon brought the press out in droves, putting women's liberation on the front pages all over the country. From this, women learned that a new feminist movement was emerging and flocked to join.
The 1968 demonstration also saddled women's liberation with the myth of bra burning. Forevermore the press would repeat that women burned their bras. They never remembered where this was supposed to have occurred, let alone that it never happened.

Women's liberation invited even more women to "Don't Miss America" the next year. They planned more "actions, excitement, analysis, militance." But very little happened.

I'll be honest - when I read this statement by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) - I nearly fell off my chair. Even if you test positive for the BRCA1 gene mutation - your risk of getting breast cancer may still be caused by other factors.

In other words, the BRCA1 gene may not really be the cause of breast cancer.

Read for yourself what the National Cancer Institute says about BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutations...

"It is important to note, however, that most research related to BRCA1 and BRCA2 has been done on large families with many individuals affected by cancer. Estimates of breast and ovarian cancer risk associated with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations have been calculated from studies of these families. Because family members share a proportion of their genes and, often, their environment, it is possible that the large number of cancer cases seen in these families may be due in part to other genetic or environmental factors. Therefore, risk estimates that are based on families with many affected members may not accurately reflect the levels of risk for BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation carriers in the general population. In addition, no data are available from long-term studies of the general population comparing cancer risk in women who have harmful BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations with women who do not have such mutations. Therefore, the percentages given above are estimates that may change as more data become available."

I hope you understand the magnitude of what you've just read. The NCI has openly admitted that your risk for breast cancer stems from a wide variety of "genetic or environmental factors".

Simply put, the NCI really doesn't know (scientifically) how much of any risk factor causes cancer - including the presence of a BRCA1 mutation.

The cancer industry would like you to believe that you are a victim of your genes with very little power to control your own health.

Operation Himmler, a Nazi Germany SS project to create the appearance of Polish aggression against Germany, which would be used to justify the subsequent invasion of Poland.

On the night of 31 August 1939 a small group of German operatives, dressed in Polish uniforms and led by Alfred Naujocks, seized the Gleiwitz station and broadcast a short anti-German message in Polish (sources vary on the content on the message).

Several prisoners (most likely from the Dachau concentration camp) and a local Polish-Silesian activist (arrested a day before) were left dead on the scene in Polish uniforms.

Who was the first victim of a war that would do more than forty million of them? It was a prisoner of the Nazi concentration camps (probably Dachau) used in a German secret operation that would lead to the outbreak of World War II.

Some months before the invasion of Poland by Germany, several German newspapers and other politicians like Adolf Hitler had already begun a national and international campaign accusing Polish authorities of organizing or tolerating violent ethnic cleansing of Germans living in Poland.

The August 22, 1939, Adolft Hitler warned his generals that he would get something that would legitimize an action war against Poland:

«I will provide a propagandistic casus belli. Its credibility doesn't matter. The victor will not be asked whether he told the truth.»

Then they launched a plan that had the name of its creator Heinrich Himmler and was initially supervised by Heinrich Müller and then by Reinhard Heydrich. The aim was to create the idea of a Polish aggression against Germany, which would later be used to justify the invasion of Poland. In addition, another of the intentions of Adolf Hitler was that such an operation would confuse the Poland allies (United Kingdom and France) and delay their declaration of war on Germany.

US government is suspending freedom of speech in Connecticut

I just found this video, a must-see, and Martin, who has a great channel at Youtube, raises some important topics about our lives in a very nice way.
He talks about the possibility of Connecticut school-shootings being a false-flag for the purpose of banning weapons from America.

Search for "school-shooting false flag" and you'll find numerous sites discussing this possibility.

The message is:: Americans have to fight for your rights and try to have a realistic picture about what is going on in US and the world,

Serious journalists working for Al Jazeera?

I used to comment at Al Jazeera two years ago.
Yesterday I visited the site left some comments and  noticed that those good commenters are gone.
There were  very good comments that sometimes were better than the article or added very important issues making a very interesting exchange of knowledge and information.

It is over. The Islamophobics took over and the articles of good journalists are put in discredit through those famous arguments used in propaganda.
Above my last comment in Al Jazeera.

Update September 21:
"Al Jazeera English has been prostituted, and is no longer a reliable source of information."

Roger Hayes: BBC doesn't consider British political prisoner a national interest issue

This is the e-mail answer I got from BBC (click the image to enlarge):

I'm amazed. Roger Hayes was arrested, tried on a secret court and imprisoned as explained at this post.
BBC and all the mainstream media wants to cover up Roger Hayes imprisonment because this is what he stands for:

UK is being under a dictatorship very similar to US and the corporate media is doing the job they do in times like that: cover it all up. BBC didn't neglect the story: it didn't publish because Roger hayes is a political prisoner and events like his do not receive coverage of the media during dictatorship. Everything is censured. An act of lawful rebellion is not part of the interest of those who are in power being the mainstream media a part of them.
