Veterans for peace: support the troops

Veterans for peace:

'Veterans For Peace is a global organization of Military Veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using our experiences and lifting our voices. We inform the public of the true causes of war and the enormous costs of wars, with an obligation to heal the wounds of wars. Our network is comprised of over 140 chapters worldwide whose work includes: educating the public, advocating for a dismantling of the war economy, providing services that assist veterans and victims of war, and most significantly, working to end all wars.' I always get so choked up when I use to see so many homeless people who are trying hard to survive on the streets of London, who were servicemen. It's heart wrenching to know they went out to war only to come back to absolutely nothing. No home, no benefits, not enough family support, hardly any medical support to cater for their needs, hardly any friends left and the list is endless.
We need to take more time to think about them and do something to help.

Yes.
I've heard about vets who are homeless in America.
I didn't know it was the same in UK.
This is cruel.
They go young and have their body mind and soul changed for life.
And are treated this way...
This world is crazy...
