Joseph Wright of Derby's boys and girls playing

As promised Joseph Wright of Derby but these paintings were not what I had in mind.
I'm amazed by these children, the way the two girls are dressing the cat, left painting, and
how happy they are.
One of them look at us smiling as if inviting us to share the fun or asking if we like it. The boys of the right look at each other waiting for the bladder to be full of air and play.
Wright's candlelight atmosphere reveals what would not be possible to do without them, a source of light in the enlightening era and not a dramatic environment strategy.
I'll post the painting I wanted next.
