"We stole your picture, we are making money from it; reclaim if you think it is yours"

There are many sites of wallpapers and screensavers but I never visited because I don't like what they choose and I don't use it either. But the main reason is that they have lots of advertisements. I came across with a result from the site Desktop Wallpapers and this is what they have written at the bottom of their screen:

Wallpaper Images

All images displayed on the site are provided only for personal use as desktop wallpapers.
If you own the copyright of a wallpaper, please contact us and we will remove it.

They have numerous advertisements and there are lots of sites of wallpapers that work the same way. It seems that copyright laws will have to be changed or the internet has it's own rules. Oh! Please, if you own the copyright of one of these images click at contact us and make them remove it. Leave a comment so that I can do the same. According to their Privacy Policy I am the one who is doing wrong:

Wallpaper Images Please do not ask for permissions to use these images in your projects, as we do not own the copyrights for them. All images displayed on the site are provided only for personal use as wallpaper on computers, cell phones and other personal electronic devices. In case of an error where you are the owner of an image and feel it is used unknowingly, please contact us so we can immediately remove it from our website. We do not intend to display any copyright protected images.
This is another website:
Copyright © 2004-2010 Free-Wallpapers-Free.com TERMS: These free wallpapers are for personal use on computer screens only. They may not be redistributed, offered for sale, included on CDs, or used for printed material.
Can someone explain to me how they claim that they do not intent to display any copyright protected images and at the same time they say that they don't own the copyrights for them and.... I'm exhausted!
All I know is that they give other people's work for free to catch attention for their site and make money from
the numerous advertisements they have at their sites.
I am rethinking about having ads at blogs. These sites create blogs and copy images from all over the web as a way to "laundry" the images and make it more difficult to find the author. This is not only unethical. I call it crime.
